[Clark Brooks]Maggie Bair, Glenbard South, senior, forward: First Team All-State by the AP and IBCA, this 6-foot-3 Drake recruit and repeat pick led 27-8 Raiders to second place in Class 3A after taking third last year. Bair averaged 16.4 points and 13.6 rebounds. [David Toney - For Shaw Media]Nikki Baird, Wheaton North, senior, forward: Belmont recruit was second team All-State by IBCA, honorable mention by AP. Baird, a versatile 6-foot-1 guard, averaged 17.2 points per game and passed 1,000 career points. [Bill Ackerman - For Shaw Media]Lily Courier, Lyons Township, junior, forward: A 6-foot-1 post, Courier had breakout junior season. She averaged 15 points and 8 rebounds with six double-doubles, including a 25-point, 13-rebound effort against Downers Grove South. [Jeff Krage for Shaw Media]Mira Emma, Wheaton Warrenville South, senior, guard: Iowa State soccer commit, third team IBCA All-State, was part of a senior-laden 23-9 Tigers' team that won the DuKane Conference and a sectional title. She averaged team-high 11.8 points and 4.1 rebounds per game, 2.3 steals and shot 80 percent from the free-throw line. [Gary E Duncan Sr for Shaw Media]Kendall Holmes, Benet, junior, forward: Second team All-State by AP and IBCA, Holmes was leading scorer for team that took fourth in Class 4A. Holmes, who has offers from UAB and SIU-Edwardsville, averaged 10.7 points and 3.4 rebounds and hit 50 3-pointers. [David Toney - For Shaw Media]Taylor Huff, Glenbard West, junior, forward: A 6-foot-2 post, this repeat selection led West Suburban Silver champ Hilltoppers with 11.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, and shot 81 percent from the line. MVP of District 87 Thanksgiving Tournament. [Mike Mantucca for Shaw Media]Holly Lueken, Downers Grove South, senior, forward: Colgate recruit and four-year varsity player was IBCA Special Mention All-State. Repeat All-Area selection averaged 21 points, 7 rebounds and 2.5 blocks before a season-ending ankle injury with two weeks left.Kennedi Perkins, Hinsdale South, freshman, guard: Talented point guard burst onto the high school scene. Perkins averaged 18.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.3 steals. She averaged 10.2 points and 3.4 rebounds for 28-7 team that won the East Suburban Catholic and took fourth in Class 4A. [Geoff Stellfox for Shaw Media]Annie Stritzel, Nazareth, senior, guard: Suburban Life Player of the Year, and repeat All-Area pick. Stritzel, a Harvard recruit, first team All-State by IBCA and second team AP, Stritzel averaged 23 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists and finished with 2,171 career points in leading Roadrunners to third in Class 3A.Sophie Sullivan, Montini, freshman, guard: Leader of a talented freshman class for 30-5 sectional finalists, Sullivan was third team IBCA All-State. She averaged 10.4 points, dished out 121 assists, had 81 steals and made 85 3-pointers.
