Probably not, but the Dukes are so balanced and talented that they can force teams into mistakes. Kosich, Shockey, Cohn and center Sam Walsh all are capable of scoring 20 points on any given night and it’s impossible to predict which one of them – if any – will.
The Hilltoppers (11-5, 1-3), who have lost twice to the Dukes, used a zone to key on Walsh, who has been hot lately, but it didn’t work. Shockey tallied 15 points, Cohn had 14 points to go with four rebounds and four steals, and Walsh chipped in nine points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
“That’s our strength,” York coach Vince Doran said. “We’re good as individuals but we can be great when we play together.
“We’re so hard to guard because you’ve got four guys out there that are averaging 12 to 13 a game that you got deal with.”
