Bond set for Villa Park woman accused of sexually abusing two teenage boys

Woman allegedly met boys at underage drinking party in her home

Bond was set at $100,000 Dec. 5 for a Villa Park woman accused of sexually abusing two teenage boys who she met an underage drinking party at her home, according to DuPage County State’s Attorney Office news release.

Stefanie Litton, 35, of the 400 block of South Harvard Avenue, appeared at a bond hearing before Judge George Bakalis. Litton has been charged with four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a class 2 felony, the release stated.

The victims are 14 and 16 years old. Litton allegedly sexually abused one of the victims from December 2017 through February 2018, and sexually abused the second victim from January 2018 through July 2018, the release stated.

The sexual abuse allegedly took place on multiple occasions in Litton’s car, according to the release.

The Villa Park Police Department received an anonymous tip about the alleged abuse and began an investigation into the matter resulting in the charges, the release stated.

“It is alleged that this defendant preyed on two young boys simply to satisfy her own sick sexual desires,” DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said in the release. “These allegations are extremely disturbing and, if found guilty, could land the defendant behind bars for a significant amount of time.”

Litton’s is scheduled to appear in court for Jan. 2 for arraignment in front of Judge Jeffrey MacKay.

I would like to thank the Villa Park Police Department for their work on this case," Berlin said. "I would like to thank the DuPage County Children’s Center, particularly Investigators Vince Liberio and Cathy Hundley, for their efforts as well."

Villa Park Police Chief Mike Lay thanked detectives who worked on the case.

“Working shoulder to shoulder with the DuPage County Children’s Center and the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, we were able to identify and charge this alleged sexual predator," Lay said.
