Chandlerthinks, the marketing company with which the village is working on the project, is hosting focus groups, community interviews and the online survey to gather the public’s input to create the brand. The survey will be active until the end of August, Jones said.
Once all of the research has been done, the company will present its findings to the Community and Economic Development Commission and La Grange Village Board in September.
Jones said the entire project is expected to be completed in December.
“Once the research is done, they’ll focus on the strategy piece,” she said. “The strategy will tell the story they found in the research, then we’ll work on the visual identity like logo and colors. It will be visible on the village’s refreshed website, and people will see it in other ways like marketing materials, the village newsletter and different community tools that the village uses.”
