The restaurant's menu has many tempting entrees, including baby back ribs – or as Mission BBQ likes to call them, "Bay-B-Back Ribs" – chopped brisket, pulled chicken and pulled pork.
I finally settled on the pulled pork sandwich. And I was not disappointed as I brought the sandwich from the counter to my table. The sandwich was piled high with pulled pork, leaving me wondering if I would be able to finish it all.
As I bit into the sandwich, I knew I made the right choice. The sandwich was bursting with so much flavor that I didn't need to add any barbecue sauce. That would have just covered up the flavor instead of enhancing it.
For my side, I chose Maggie's Mac-N-Cheese, which, according to the menu, is made from scratch. It certainly had a homemade taste and was a good complement to the pulled pork sandwich. And like a side at a barbecue restaurant should do, it packed some heat to it.
