About: The annual parade honoring local veterans starts at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park and heads down Main Street. There will be a ceremony at 11 a.m. at the Wheaton Cemetery.

About: Cantigny Park commemorates the historic anniversary of the United States' first key battle and first offensive of World War I. The Battle of Cantigny took place from May 28 to 31, 1918, in Cantigny, France. Events will include a commemoration of the battle, a reenactment of Col. Robert R. McCormick's speech, reading of war letters and a brass band concert.
