Hohe, who often runs the 3,200 relay, used a fresh open 800 to prevail by .57 over Naperville North junior Claire Hill. Hohe led off the 1,600 relay in a personal-best 1:01.3 as the Hilltoppers won by 1.25 seconds after being seeded sixth.
“I’m beyond happy right now,” Hohe said. “I consider [Pariseau] my favorite outdoor meet because it’s really special to compete against amazing people on your home track. Super good day and I’ll be holding this with me for a while.”
Senior Lindsey Payne was third in the 3,200 (10:48.72) and fourth in the 1,600 (5:07.92). Sophomore Ashley Samuta was third in triple jump (35-7), junior Susan Whelton shared fourth in high jump (personal-best 5-0), Hussaini (100 in 13.06) and Schrauth (300 hurdles in 49.87) were fifth and senior Emma Hanson (100 hurdles in 17.03) sixth.
The Hilltoppers’ 400 relay (seniors Chloe Arduino and MaryBeth Feeley, Schrauth, Hussaini in 41.79) and 800 relay (Feeley, Samuta, Hanson, Hussaini in 1:50.02) were third and the 3,200 relay (juniors Abby Hoffman and Chloe Connolly and seniors Marika Tammaru and Kailey Schmidt in 10:10.27) fourth.
