[Sandy Bressner - firstname.lastname@example.org]David Buh, Benet, senior, guard: Leading scorer and lockdown defender for 27-4 sectional champs that take 18-game win streak into this week. Buh, a 6-foot-4 wing, is averaging 13.1 points, 3.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds, and has made 60 3-pointers.Justin Eagins, Downers Grove South, junior, guard: Multi-dimensional scoring threat averaged 17 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists, teaming with Wesley Hooker in a talented junior combo. Eagins made 80 3-pointers.Zion Griffin, Hinsdale South, senior, forward: Iowa State recruit has had meteoric rise on national radar. Griffin averaged 21.1 points and 9 rebounds to lead Hornets to first West Suburban Gold title. He scored 1,000 points in two varsity seasons.Jake Healy, Wheaton Warrenville South, senior, guard: Half of a tremendous Tigers' backcourt with Parker Robinson. Healy led WW South in scoring (13.2 points) and rebounds (3.3), averaged 2.5 steals, shot 47.7 percent from three and 81.3 percent on free throws.Sema'j Henderson, Downers Grove North, junior, guard: Skilled combo guard averaged 17.9 points and 5.4 rebounds in his second varsity season. Henderson holds offers from Northern Illinois and Western Illinois.Stephon Jordan, Morton, senior, guard: Ultra-athletic 6-foot-2 guard took his game to another level. Jordan averaged 17.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.3 steals and shot 56 percent. He hit buzzer-beater in upset of Willowbrook. O'Leary averaged 18.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and shot 59 percent. O'Leary holds four Division II offers and is being recruited at the Division I level. [Jon Cunningham - For Shaw Media]Brandon Orange, Timothy Christian, senior, center: This 6-foot-7 Wheaton College recruit was the Metro Suburban Red MVP. Orange averaged 14.3 points and 9.8 rebounds, with 12 double-doubles, and shot 53 percent. [David Toney - For Shaw Media]Ethan Schuemer, Willowbrook, senior, forward: Committed to Division II St. Cloud State, 6-foot-6 Schuemer led 26-6 Warriors to first regional championship since 2004, and a sectional final. Schuemer averaged 15.8 points, 9 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 assists. [Sarah Minor - For Shaw Media]DJ Steward, Fenwick, sophomore, guard: The leading scorer on Class 3A runner-ups as a freshman, 6-foot-1 guard is one of the state's top sophomores. Steward averaged 18.4 points, 3.1 assists and 5 rebounds in leading Fenwick to Catholic League Blue title. [David Toney - For Shaw Media]Evan Taylor, Glenbard West, junior, forward: Versatile 6-foot-6 wing already holds six Division I offers including Loyola and Illinois State. Taylor averaged 18 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists. [Bill Ackerman - For Shaw Media]Brandon Whiteside, Glenbard South, senior, guard: This 6-foot-1 repeat all-Metro Suburban Blue pick was a dynamic scorer. Whiteside averaged a team-high 18.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.6 steals and made 36 3-pointers.
