"I saw the clock going down, felt the crowd's energy, I'd already hit two 3s," said Stubblefield, who attempted just two shots in the first half, "so I just pulled up."
It's the kind of spark Willowbrook coach Chris Perkins is growing used to seeing.
"He's been up about 12 games, and he's averaged double digits. He's been great for us," Perkins said. "We knew he had the talent to be up; it was just a matter of when. He came in tonight, got hot, gave us a boost and the rest of the guys fed off of that."
