DOWNERS GROVE – Community High School District 99 residents turned out Feb. 21 for a tour of Downers Grove South High School in advance of the district's March 20 referendum.
The referendum question calls for $136.6 million in capital facility improvements for both Downers Grove South and North high schools.
The tour was accompanied by a presentation that outlined the capital improvement plans, which include security enhancements. A Q&A session also was conducted.
A similar tour and presentation was offered Feb. 22 at Downers Grove North High School.
