McAninch Arts Center reschedules events in face of expected snowstorm

Because of a snowstorm set to hit the area Feb. 8, the McAninch Arts Center on the College of DuPage campus in Glen Ellyn is rescheduling Feb. 8 and 9 events.

Because of a snowstorm set to hit the area Feb. 8, the McAninch Arts Center on the College of DuPage campus in Glen Ellyn is rescheduling Feb. 8 and 9 events as follows:

• The 7 p.m. Feb. 8 performance of National Theatre Live's “Peter Pan" has been canceled. Patrons can call the box office at 630-942-4000 to exchange their tickets to a different performance in the season.

• The Cleve Carney Art Gallery opening reception for Faheem Majeed: “UNITE” set for 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 8 has been rescheduled. It will now take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Feb. 17. This event is free. More information is available at clevecarneygallery.org.

• Buffalo Theatre Ensemble's performances of “Time Stands Still” at 8 p.m. Feb. 8 and 9 have been rescheduled. Ticket holders can call the box office at 630-942-4000 to reschedule to another date.

• National Geographic Live: “Exploring Mars” program set for 2 and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 9 is being re-scheduled to 2 p.m. April 29. Ticket holders can email the box office at TheMac@COD.edu to confirm their exchange or call 630-942-4000.

• The Feb. 10 Mojo & the Bayou Gypsies concert and the Feb. 10 and 11 performances of Buffalo Theatre Ensemble's “Time Stands Still” will go on as originally scheduled.
