[Bill Ackerman - For Shaw Media]
In the final minute Schultz missed on a tough driving attempt for the tie, and Sorenson snagged the rebound.
"He's been great for us all year," Brackmann said of Sorenson, who was all-tournament at the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic at Christmas. "He had a slow start, but I knew he would come around and made an impact on the game."
Sorenson scored nine of his 15 in the fourth quarter. Notably for a kid his size, he was 7-for-9 on free throws.
"He's a good free-throw shooter and so is Deng," Brackmann said. "They're shooting around 80-some percent. When you have two big guys like that that can make free throws it's huge."
About all Sorenson doesn't have yet is a college home.
He had some small Division I and high Division II schools looking at him at one point, but hasn't heard from them in a while.
"I don't really know what is going on," Sorenson said. "The best thing I can do is keep working hard and see what works out in the end."
