Two Stihl backpack blowers, one Stihl handheld blower and three Redmax reciprocators reportedly were stolen between noon Nov. 22 and 7:40 a.m. Nov. 28 at the Village Links maintenance building, 490 Harding Ave. Entry reportedly was gained by cutting a hole in the building.
Seven scratch-off lottery tickets, a hat, mittens and $65 in cash reportedly were stolen between 7 and 8:11 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Budgetel Inn, 677 Roosevelt Road.
Isaiah M. Bedrossian, 18, of the 1500 block of East Harrison Avenue, Wheaton, was charged at 7:45 p.m. Nov. 27 with unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at Lambert Road and Taft Avenue.
• Saul Perez-Leon, 31, of the zero to 100 block of Briar Street, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 8:48 p.m. Nov. 28 with public intoxication in the zero to 100 block of Briar Street.
• Brandon L. Travelstead, 29, of the 2600 block of West Lotus Avenue, Antioch, was charged at 7:33 a.m. Nov. 30 with public intoxication at the Metra train station, 555 Crescent Blvd.
Controlled substance possession
Julio K. Sanchez, 21, of the 1100 block of South Washington Street, Wheaton, was charged at 12:26 a.m. Dec. 2 with possession of a controlled substance and driving without a license in the 1100 block of South Washington Street.
Tiffany Harris, 29, and Keyonia Jones, 32, both of the 400 block of 44th Avenue, Northlake, were charged at 3:14 p.m. Dec. 2 with retail theft and contributing to the criminal delinquency of a juvenile at 601 S. County Farm Road.
