Forum held at Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream
CAROL STREAM – From health care to tax reform, the seven Democratic candidates vying for a chance to face U.S. Rep. Peter Roskam, R-Wheaton, addressed a number of topics during a candidate forum Dec. 12 at Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream.
The Glenbard North Civics Club and the Coalition for a Better Illinois 6th organized the forum, with NBC 5 Chicago political reporter Mary Ann Ahern acting as moderator. Whoever wins the Democratic nod in the March 2018 primary will face Roskam in the November 2018 general election.
Roskam, who has filed for reelection, was first elected to Congress in 2006. He faces no Republican opponent in the primary.
