WOODSTOCK – McHenry County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman they said had about 15 grams of methamphetamine.
Cherish Garcia, 30, of the 2400 block of Lamb Road, Woodstock, was taken to the McHenry County Jail after being arrested Friday, according to booking records. She is charged with possession of methamphetamine, which typically is punishable by three to seven years in prison, charging documents show.
Garcia is accused of having about 15 grams – less than one ounce – of methamphetamine with a street value of $1,500, McHenry County Sheriff’s Deputy Sandra Rogers said in an email Monday.
She must post $5,000 bail to be released from the McHenry County Jail, where she remained Monday afternoon.
Garcia is due back in court Dec. 13.
