Board expected to vote at Dec. 18 meeting
GLEN ELLYN – In the face of steady enrollment growth over the last five years, Community Consolidated School District 89 is considering redrawing its elementary school boundaries for the 2018-19 school year.
Parents had the chance to ask questions about the proposal during a community Q&A session Oct. 25 at Glen Crest Middle School. District 89 serves preschool through middle-school students from Glen Ellyn, Wheaton and Lombard. The district maintains four elementary schools and one middle school.
The members of the District 89 Board of Education are set to discuss boundary changes at their Nov. 20 meeting and vote on what changes to make at their Dec. 18 meeting.
