Lemont junior Maggie Micetich shot a 74, earning medalist honors by two strokes at the Class 2A Oswego East Regional. Danielle Ingolia carded a 94 and KateLynne Rostis had a 95 for the Indians to also advance to the sectional meet.
Chad Biggs fired a 73 and Raymond Sullivan shot a 74, leading the Indians to second place at the Class 2A Montini Regional. Lemont shot a combined 304, tied with St. Francis behind Nazareth's 300. Jack Kramer carded a 77 for Lemont and Nate Stieber an 80.
Marcus Mathias threw for 152 yards and a touchdown, and Anthony Martin had 17 carries for 85 yards and a touchdown as Lemont (5-1, 3-0) shut out Oak Forest 24-0 in the matchup of South Suburban Blue leaders on Sept. 29.
Beth Cannon had 12 kills for the Indians in a 25-14, 25-11 win over Hillcrest. Amanda Rice added six kills and Amy Schwem 30 assists for Lemont (19-9, 10-1).
Bella Purpura put down seven kills to pace the Indians past Reavis 25-18, 25-13. Cannon chipped in six kills and Schwem 22 assists.
The Indians previously topped Bremen 25-16, 25-15.
Lemont beat Hillcrest in a dual meet 5-0. Grace Fortey and Anna Ford won singles matches. Maggie O'Brien/Grace Cliff, Emma Kalamas/Grace Pangesen and Megan Zhou/Anita Suputer all won doubles matches in straight sets.
Lemont also beat Oak Forest 5-0.
