Police Reports

Police Reports: Glen Ellyn and Wheaton for Oct. 5

Information in Police Reports is obtained from local police departments. Individuals in Police Reports who have been charged with a crime have not been proved guilty in court.



• Patrick P. Stoffle, 39, of the 300 block of Ash Lane, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 10:42 p.m. Oct. 1 with domestic battery and interfering with reporting domestic violence in the 300 block of Ash Lane.

• Christopher J. Delporte, 24, of the 200 block of Mark Avenue, Glendale Heights, was charged at 5:51 a.m. Oct. 1 with battery to do bodily harm at Main Street and North Avenue in Glendale Heights.


• Michael L. Youngren, 46, of the zero to 100 block of Sunset Avenue, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 1:31 a.m. Oct. 1 with DUI of alcohol, speeding, squealing/screeching tires and driving without insurance at Main and Elm streets.

• Benjamin D. Marston, 22, of the 900 block of Forest Avenue, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 11:31 p.m. Sept. 30 with driving under the influence of drugs, unlawful possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper lane use at Baker Hill Road and Route 53.


A gray Acura MDX that was unlocked was reported stolen at 1:57 a.m. Sept 28 in the 200 block of Lorraine Street.


Three vehicles reportedly were broken into at 5:11 p.m. Sept. 25 while parked in Village Green Park, 130 S. Lambert Road. A witness observed a man in his 20s inside one of the vehicles who then jumped into the passenger side of a dark or gray Jeep, which fled the area northbound on Lambert Road. Two of the vehicles had windows broken. Windows on the third vehicle were down, and the center console was open and disturbed.



Kevin Simmons, 24, of the 200 block of Wood Street, Wheaton, was charged at 5:37 p.m. Sept. 28 with burglary from a motor vehicle and criminal damage to a vehicle at Evergreen Street and Lorraine Road.
