A wallet containing about $500 to $800 in cash reportedly was stolen between 10 p.m. Sept. 17 and 7:45 a.m. Sept. 18 from an unlocked car parked in the 100 block of Exmoor Avenue. The wallet and miscellaneous credit cards were turned in to the police station by two separate individuals. The cash was reported missing from the wallet.
The lid to a grill reportedly was stolen between 4 p.m. Sept. 22 and 7 p.m. Sept. 23 from the rear patio of a house in the 100 block of Tanglewood Drive. A screen door also was damaged.
Violating extradition act
Brandon E. Tate, 33, of the 27000 block of Sparrow Lane, Richland, Mo., was charged at 6:27 p.m. Sept. 22 with violating extradition act in the 500 block of Pershing Avenue.
Yuriy Shvets, 55, of the 1600 block of Davis Street, Park Ridge, was charged at 1:29 a.m. Sept. 24 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without insurance and improper lane use at Finley and Roosevelt roads.
Shawn Stewart, 25, of the 100 block of East Prairie Avenue, Wheaton, was charged at 4:52 a.m. Sept. 6 with domestic battery in the 100 block of East Prairie Avenue.
Marcus A. McGee, 22, of the 700 block of South Neltnor Avenue, West Chicago, was charged at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 10 with retail theft at the Wheaton Police Department, 900 W. Liberty Drive.
Controlled substance possession
Einn Xzavier, 25, of the 700 block of West Liberty Drive, Wheaton, was charged at 2:07 p.m. Sept. 10 with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, obstructing identification and resisting/obstructing a police officer at Cross Street and Oak Avenue.
