As the name implies, there are pancakes in all shapes and sizes behind those doors. Pancakes, French toast and waffles are available with most toppings known to man. There are also batter options with standard, whole wheat, pumpkin and gluten free in the mix.
The oven-baked pancakes section is prominently displayed and for good reason. My breakfast favorite – the other half of the tie – is the Dutch baby, or larger version German pancake. Both are oven baked, requiring a worthwhile wait, allowing the batter to puff up along the edges. The oven-baked pancakes are available in either apple or plain version, with a size choice in each. Sided with lemon wedges and powdered sugar, you can also select additional toppings from the extensive list for pancakes, waffles and French toast.
