HARVARD – The Starline Factory in Harvard was evacuated Saturday after a fire broke out in a paint booth on the west end of the building, a fire official said.
Harvard Fire Protection District Chief Steve Harter said crews responded at 4:28 p.m. to the factory, 300 W. Front St.
The building was evacuated, although there weren’t any people in the section of the building where the fire started, Harter said. No one was injured in the fire, he said, and people were later able to re-enter the building.
The fire was under control in about 20 minutes, Harter said. He said the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System was activated because of the large size of the building.
The cause of the fire and damage estimate have not been determined, Harter said.
