To the editor:

I am writing to support four candidates for the Community Unit School District 200 school board for the April 4 election.

Brad Paulsen – first ballot positionIncumbent school board vice president, deep background in the design and construction industry for schools across Chicagoland, his wife, Pamela, was the past president of the district’s Student Excellence Foundation

Rob Hanlon – second ballot positionSVP and CIO of Tree House Foods, comes from a family of education, major volunteer work in music programs for students

Jim Mathieson – third ballot positionIncumbent school board member who has run his own CPA Firm, long-time volunteer in community, former president of Downtown Wheaton Association

Ginna Ericksen – eighth ballot positionStay-at-home mom, deep volunteer involvement within District 200 and across our community, master’s degree in counseling with a school counseling specialty

It is imperative that we elect these four individuals because they will make sure to represent the needs of all of our students.
