JOLIET — A car crash in Joliet led one vehicle to slam through a building late Friday morning.
That building was the City of Joliet Motor Maintenance building near State and Jackson streets, which a car veered into after striking another car, said Joliet Fire Capt. Bob Wohlrab.
Photos on the Facebook page for the Joliet Fire Department show the car drove through a wall of glass blocks and was almost halfway into the building.
Wohlrab said no one affiliated with the building was hurt but four people from the two vehicles were transported to a hospital.
No cause has been determined yet for the incident.
Wohlrab said he estimated the cost of the damage for the building and two cars to be about $30,000 altogether.
Joliet police, fire and building staff responded to the crash.
