• A messenger bag containing a laptop and Fitbit adapters was stolen between 4:30 p.m. Sept. 12 and 9:11 a.m. Sept. 13 from an unlocked 2015 Toyota station wagon parked in the 200 block of Merton Avenue. The empty messenger bag was located in the 0-100 block of Carleton Avenue.
• Two pairs of shoes and a men’s black wallet containing an identification card, credit cards and approximately $100 in cash were stolen from an unlocked vehicle between 9 p.m. Sept. 11 and 9 a.m. Sept. 12 in the 800 block of Abbey Drive. One pair of shoes was located in the front yard of another home on the same block.
• A Rolex watch valued at more than $500 was taken between noon and 12:10 p.m. Sept. 11 from a golf bag sitting in a golf cart at the Village Links of Glen Ellyn, 485 Winchell Way.
Three Razor brand scooters were stolen between 7 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Sept. 13 from St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 393 N. Main St. The scooters were hidden under bushes on the property.
A Ford F-250 pickup truck and a box trailer which contained landscaping equipment was stolen between 9 a.m. and noon Sept. 8 from the 0-100 block of Briar Street. The truck and trailer were later recovered, however a Wright Standard stand up mower, Red Max blower, Red Max trimmer and a Stihl trimmer are still missing.
Black lines were drawn on the driver's side of a vehicle between 5 and 10:45 p.m. Sept. 9 in the South Main Street parking lot.
Melissa A. Thomas, 44, of the 6700 block of North Ashland Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 9:56 p.m. Sept. 9 with criminal trespass and resisting a police officer at Shannon’s Pub, 428 Main St.
Consumption of alcohol
Roberto Quintana, 29, of the 400 block of Main Street, Glen Ellyn, and Martin C. Olivo, 35, of the 0-100 block of North Parkside Ave., Glen Ellyn, were charged at 5:51 p.m. Sept. 9 with public consumption of alcohol in the 400 block of Main Street.
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Umer A. Rahman, 20, of the 2200 block of Sable Oaks Drive, Naperville, was charged at 2:08 p.m. Sept. 8 with possession of drug paraphernalia at South Park Boulevard and Buena Vista Drive.
Illegal transportation of alcohol
Joseph R. Kruzel, 25, of the 600 block of South Iowa Avenue, Addison, was charged at 11:24 p.m. Sept. 6 with speeding and illegal transportation of alcohol at Geneva Road and Highland Avenue.
