DUI

Jeffrey J. Higgenbotham, 32, of the zero to 100 block of Forest Hill Drive, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 2:30 a.m. Aug. 28 with driving under the influence of alcohol at Park Boulevard and Roosevelt Road.

Burglary

• A Magellan GPS, briefcase and a blue Samsung cellphone were stolen from an unlocked vehicle between noon Aug. 6 and noon Aug. 7 in the 700 block of Duane Street.

• An Acer laptop and an unknown amount of change were stolen from an unlocked vehicle between 7 p.m. Aug. 11 and 7 a.m. Aug. 12 in the 300 block of Maple Street.

Theft

• A mountain bike and its lock were stolen from a bike rack at 6 p.m. Aug. 27 at Park Boulevard and the railroad tracks.

• A man ran away before paying his $73.45 cab fare from Chicago to Glen Ellyn at 5:08 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 400 block of Main Street.

• A Children’s Miracle Network Hospital charity jar containing about $30 was stolen at 10:30 p.m. Aug. 23 at a Shell Gas Station, 631 Roosevelt Road.

• A white bicycle and its lock were stolen from a bike rack between 5:30 p.m. Aug. 23 and 9:30 a.m. Aug. 24 at Park Boulevard and the railroad tracks.

• A driver’s license was reported missing and believed stolen Aug. 23 in the 900 block of Winslow Circle.

• Chelsea A. James, 19, of the 600 block of Roosevelt Road, Glen Ellyn, was charged between 2:28 p.m. and 3:48 p.m. Aug. 22 at America’s Best Inn, 677 Roosevelt Road.

Resisting a peace officer

• William Wade Anderson, 52, of the 200 block of Strathmore Court, Bloomingdale, was charged at 11:55 a.m. Aug. 23with resisting a peace officer, public intoxication and failure to appear warrant in the 400 block of Roosevelt Road.

• Tobias C. Braun, 18, of the 500 block of Newton Avenue, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 11:15 p.m. Aug. 22 with resisting a peace officer and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor at Walnut Park, 185 Spring Ave.

Public intoxication

• Alexander Nesteruk, 25, of the 700 block of West Liberty Drive, Wheaton, was charged at 11:34 p.m. Aug. 30 with public intoxication at Panera Bread, 541 Roosevelt Road.

• Alexander Nesteruk, 25, of the 700 block of West Liberty Drive, Wheaton, was charged at 7:24 p.m. Aug. 23 with public intoxication in the 400 block of Main Street.

Underaged drinking

• Allison A. Brown, 19, of the 500 block of Taylor Avenue, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 11:15 p.m. Aug. 22 with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor at Walnut Park, 185 Spring Ave.

• Cord M. Ferguson, 19, of the 500 block of Carlton Avenue, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 11:15 p.m. Aug. 22 with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor at Walnut Park, 185 Spring Ave.

Drug possession

• Jessica L. Hill, 26, of the 1300 block of Terry Court, Glendale Heights, was charged at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 26 in the 500 block of Duane Street with possession of a controlled substance from an incident that occurred on April 19.

• Michael J. King, 24, of the 100 block of Eastview Terrace, Lombard, was charged at 3:14 a.m. Aug. 24 with possession of marijuana in the 0-100 block of Park Boulevard.

Suspended license

Quateria L. Murray, 27, of the 8200 block of South Marquette Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 10:26 p.m. Aug. 27 with driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at Roosevelt Road and Surrey Drive.

Public drinking

• Michael S. Block, 34, of the 600 block of Roosevelt Road, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 9:21 p.m. Aug. 28 with drinking alcohol in a public place at Dunkin Donuts, 651 Roosevelt Road.

• Luke E. Wood, 31, of the 600 block of Roosevelt Road, Glen Ellyn, was charged at 9:21 p.m. Aug. 28 with drinking alcohol in a public place at Dunkin Donuts, 651 Roosevelt Road.

Public Indecency

A man was seen masturbating in the lobby of a building at 3:40 p.m. Aug. 25 in the 700 block of Roosevelt Road.
