ELMHURST – Michael Mooradian, an Elmhurst-based businessman, has been named the new chief sales officer at GroundLink, a mobile app that focuses on providing convenient, reliable transportation for frequent business travelers and corporate clients.

Now available for IPhone and Android, GroundLink allows users to book, track and pay for service rides at the touch of their fingertips. To note, pricing, which is provided during the booking process, is not affected by traffic delays, weather changes or during periods of high demand, according to a company news release.

To ensure travelers' safety, GroundLink drivers are licensed and go through background and employment history checks, and they are regularly evaluated for their performances. Information about the driver including a photo, name, car model and license plate number, and vehicle location is provided to the traveler through a text message.

The mobile app has expanded its service to most major cities in the United States and 110 countries.
