ELMHURST – Members of the York football team managed to find time between practices to donated their time to those in need.

More than 40 players rolled up their sleeves and traded their helmets for hairnets to package meals for Feed My Starving Children.

The team packaged enough food Aug. 9 in Libertyville for 33,000 meals, which will be sent to hungry children in Africa, according to an email from Second Ward Alderman Bob Dunn.
