DOWNERS GROVE – The Downers Grove Township Republican Organization will be presenting nationally renowned author, businesswoman and political figure Carly Fiorina as the keynote speaker at its second annual Reagan Day Dinner on Oct. 15.

Named by Fortune as one of the "most powerful women in business," according to a press release, Fiorina is perhaps best known for transforming Hewlett-Packard during her six years as CEO, doubling the corporation’s revenue while quadrupling its growth and cash flow.

Her experience at HP formed the basis of her best-selling memoir, "Tough Choices."

In addition to actively taking part in a number of community- and faith-based organizations and programs, Fiorina currently serves as the Chairman of the American Conservative Union Foundation, which annually hosts CPAC, America’s largest annual gathering of conservatives, according to the release.

The dinner begins with cocktails at 6 p.m. Oct. 15 at Shyana Banquets, 1620 75th St., Downers Grove.

Tickets are $75, $100 after Sept. 25, and can be purchased at dgtro.org/ReaganDinner.htm

Proceeds go to the Downers Grove Township Republican Organization.

The Downers Grove Township Republican Organization is "dedicated to furthering Republican principles and helping candidates at the local, state and federal levels," according to a mission statement.
