Joliet house hit by bullets

JOLIET – A house and SUV on Woodruff Road were shot up at about 3 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Police responded to a report of shots fired in the area when they got a 911 call that the house in the 900 block of Woodruff Road was hit by bullets. While there, police found that a 1999 Chevy Tahoe at the residence also had been hit by gunfire.

At the scene, police found .40-caliber and 9 mm shell casings. No arrests were made as of early Saturday evening.
