Wheaton police ask drivers to slow down for schools

WHEATON – With the school year starting, the Wheaton Police Department is asking drivers to slow down and be aware of children, according to a department news release.

Drivers are reminded to be alert to children walking or riding bicycles, school buses loading or unloading children, crossing guards and posted school speed zones.
