Flood advisory issued for area

The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for DuPage County, southern Cook County and Will County through 11:30 a.m. this morning.

A storm passing through the area dropped as much as an inch of rain in an hour in some areas.

Locations mentioned in the advisory as likely to see flooding included Berwyn, Bolingbrook, Brookfield, Burr Ridge, Carol Stream, Cicero, Downers Grove and the DuPage Airport in West Chicago.
