LEMONT – Owen Doherty worked with Lemont District 113A to put up signs outside Old Quarry Middle School as part of his Eagle Scout project, according to a district news release.

The signs, located at the north and east sides of the building, directs visitors to the administration wing and the gymnasium.

The signs are designed of heavy duty vinyl composite and highlight the school colors. A school logo adorns the top of each sign and arrows direct visitors to each area of the building.

District 113A updated the landscaping around the signs to complete the project.

Doherty is a 2011 graduate of Old Quarry Middle School.
