Police reports: Glen Ellyn for Aug. 28

Information in Police Reports is obtained from the Glen Ellyn Police Department and the DuPage County Sheriff's Office. Individuals listed in Police Reports who have been charged with a crime have not been proven guilty in court.

DUI

• Ricardo A. Fontanez, 32, 440 Maple Ave., Elburn, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content above 0.08 and speeding at 2:38 a.m. Aug. 10 at Roosevelt and Lambert roads.

• Joseph S. Vasquez, 19, 637 Lalonde Ave., Lombard, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content above 0.08, possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of alcohol by a minor and improper lane usage at 2:38 a.m. Aug. 16 at Roosevelt Road and Exmoor Avenue.

• Anthony Palermo IV, 20, 7N200 Briargate Terrace, Medinah, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content above 0.08, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage at 3:36 a.m. Aug. 16 at Roosevelt Road and Parkside Avenue.

Burglary

• $10 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle between 9:30 p.m. Aug. 12 and 7 a.m. Aug. 13 in the 600 block of Hillside Avenue.

• A wallet was stolen from a vehicle between 9 p.m. Aug. 12 and 7 a.m. Aug. 13 in the 600 block of Hillside Avenue.

• Two personal checks were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in an unlocked garage between 3:30 p.m. Aug. 14 and 7:29 a.m. Aug. 15 in the 400 block of Anthony Street.

• A window screen was stolen from an unlocked garage between 10:30 p.m. Aug. 14 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 15 in the 300 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.

• An unlocked vehicle in an unlocked garage was broken into with no items stolen between 10:30 p.m. Aug. 14 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 15 in the 300 block of Hawthorne Boulevard.

• Two unlocked vehicles were entered but nothing was taken between 12:01 and 8:40 a.m. Aug. 15 in the 400 block of Anthony Street.

• A pair of sunglasses and some loose change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle between 1:30 and 10:21 a.m. Aug. 15 in the 400 block of Anthony Street.

• A black Fossil wallet containing $100 in cash and several credit cards was stolen from an unlocked vehicle between 9 p.m. Aug. 14 and 1 p.m. Aug. 15 in the 400 block of Anthony Street.

Theft

• A catalytic converter was stolen from a parked vehicle between 10:56 a.m. and noon Aug. 13 at 799 Roosevelt Road.

• A catalytic converter was stolen from a parked vehicle between 8:30 a.m. and 5:25 p.m. Aug. 13 in the 800 block of Roosevelt Road.

• A flag valued at less than $500 was stolen from the front porch of a house between 9 p.m. Aug. 13 and 1 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 300 block of Park Boulevard. It was later located.

• Ashley A. Reher, 24, 1207 College Ave., Wheaton, was charged with retail theft at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 16 at B&D Liquors, 1184 Roosevelt Road.

Marijuana possession

Steven E. Rowzee, 19, 325 Marston Ave., was charged with possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana at 8:52 p.m. Aug. 15 in the 300 block of Marston Avenue.

Criminal trespassing

A vehicle was broken into, but nothing was taken between 7 p.m. Aug. 11 and 5 p.m. Aug. 13 in the 400 block of Montclair Avenue.

Public intoxication

Calvin D. Hill, 46, 60 Seims Road, Glendale Heights, was charged with public intoxication at 7:32 p.m. Aug. 11 in the 500 block of Forest Avenue.

Disorderly conduct

Nawaf Sulaiman, 31, 1150 Surrey Drive, was charged with disorderly conduct at 7:41 p.m. Aug. 11 in the 1100 block of Surrey Drive.
