NEW 200 Foundation asks residents to support schools by shopping local

WHEATON – The NEW 200 Foundation is hoping to generate funds for Community Unit School District 200 with its "Support Our Schools" event Saturday.

Participating local businesses will donate up to 20 percent of all sales to the foundation for those who mention the organization at check-out. The goal is to raise $10,000 to fund online math tutorial programs for district students.

Participating businesses will receive an official sign indicating their involvement.
