HARVARD – Democratic congressional candidate Dennis Anderson is stopping by Harvard on Tuesday evening to hear what is on local voters' minds.

Harvard is the latest stop on his tour of town hall meetings throughout the sprawling collar-county district. The event lasts from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Harvard Diggins Library, 900 E. McKinley St.

Anderson, of Gurnee, is running against incumbent U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren, R-Winfield, in the Nov. 4 election. He has held a dozen town hall meetings to date.

Upcoming tour stops include Hampshire, Marengo and Huntley.

All of McHenry County except for Algonquin Township is in the 14th District, which includes most or parts of all the collar counties as well as parts of Kendall and DeKalb counties. Algonquin Township is in the 6th Congressional District represented by U.S. Rep. Peter Roskam, R-Wheaton.
