LISLE – The Lisle Library District will host “Ready, Set, Go!,” an event spotlighting its education and employment resources, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the district, 777 Front St., according to a library news release.

Representatives from Midwestern Career College, Universal Technical Institute, National Louis University, College Bound Funding Solutions and WorkNet DuPage will attend.

Local businesses will provide prizes.

The event will also kick off the district's National Library Card Sign-Up Month “I Love My Lisle Library Card” program, during which patrons can get discounts or free items by showing their Lisle library card in September at more than 40 area businesses. A library representative will be present to offer information about the program.
