JOLIET – Another trial has been scheduled for one of the suspects in the Hickory Street murders.

Joshua Miner will face a jury trial Sept. 22 before Judge Gerald Kinney, lawyers agreed Thursday.

Miner is charged with murder and robbery for the deaths of Eric Glover and Terrence Rankins on Jan. 9, 2013.

Adam Landerman, Bethany McKee and Alisa Massaro also were charged with murder.

Massaro pleaded guilty to lesser charges and agreed to testify against the others. McKee was tried earlier this month in a bench trial and is awaiting a verdict, which is scheduled to be rendered Aug. 29. Landerman is awaiting a separate trial.

Defense attorney Michael Renzi said Miner will be examined by a psychologist before the trial to determine his sanity at the time of the crime. Miner already has been found fit to stand trial.
