Nazareth Academy presents $10K check to American Cancer Society

LA GRANGE PARK – Members of Nazareth Academy's student council recently presented a $10,500 check to the American Cancer Society.

The donation – presented on Aug. 12 – came as a result of the school's Lights Out For Cancer event this past May. The fundraiser, which was open to the public, included live music, raffles, games and more. All proceeds from the event were donated to the American Cancer Society.
