Artists, crafters sought for Warrenville's Art on the Prairie event

WARRENVILLE – The Warrenville Park District is seeking artists and crafters to participate in Art on the Prairie from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 13 to 14 in the City Hall parking lot, 28W701 Stafford Place.

The two-day event will offer face painting, country dance lessons and a bubble show, as well as musical entertainment that includes Caribbean music from band Reel Steel Drums and folk music by Tin Fiddle Band.

This is a juried fine arts fair. All work must be original, and artists must be 16 years of age or older.

Applications can be found online at www.warrenvilleparks.org. Four high-resolution images of art should be emailed to ruthb@warrenvilleparks.org, or images may be submitted via CD-ROM and mailed to Warrenville Park District, Art on the Prairie, 3S260 Warren Ave., Warrenville, IL 60555.
