Oktoberfest to celebrate 35 years of fun in Villa Park

VILLA PARK - Villa Park's Oktoberfest is celebrating 35 years with the 2014 festival Sept. 5 to 7 at Lions Park, 320 E. Wildwood Ave.

The festival's opening day will feature music by Billy Croft & the 5 Alarm.

Day 2 will include a Kids Zone, Bingo, bags tournament, and a show from Cold Blooded Creatures featuring Bubby the Alligator. An unlimited ride special of $20 per person is available from noon to 5 p.m. Local talent Meghan Foley, Six to Midnight, and 7th Heaven will provide live musical entertainment.

Activities on Sept. 7 include the $20 unlimited ride special, Kids Zone and performances by the Villa Park’s Got Talent Contest winners, Cori Carmona and Soul to Soul. 

Food vendors and the Lions beer tent will be available all three days of the festival.

Pre-register to participate in the Villa Park’s Got Talent Contest and Teen Pizza Judging Contest.
