Edward Hospital West Building gets 2-floor addition

NAPERVILLE – Edward Hospital recently opened a two-floor addition to the West Building on its Naperville campus, according to a hospital news release.

The $63.7 million, 86,500-square-foot-project was started in mid-2012 and features an Orthopedic & Spine Center on the third floor and an Intensive Care Unit on the fourth floor.

The Orthopedic & Spine Center includes 36 private patient rooms, a rehab gym and dedicated nursing and rehab teams. The Intensive Care Unit has 24 private patient rooms, a dedicated nursing team and state-of-the-art monitoring equipment.

Both new floors offer conveniences for patient families, including a sleeper sofa, spacious waiting areas and several consultation rooms.
