BLOOMINGDALE – Children can polish up their athletic skills this fall with baseball, football and basketball programs offered at Bloomingdale Park District, 172 S. Circle Ave.

The Co-Ed Wood Fall Ball baseball program consists of a one-hour mini camp before each game, where youth can learn skills such as hitting, fielding and baserunning.

Kids also can learn the fundamentals of football in the Flag Football League, which begins in September.

Registration for the Youth Basketball Association will be from 9 a.m. until noon Aug. 23 at the Johnson Recreation Center.
