Volunteers, parade participants sought for Winfield Good Old Days

WINFIELD – Volunteers are needed for Winfield Good Old Days, set this year for Sept. 4 to 7.

Volunteer duties will include watching children in the bounce house, working the Sunday parade, assisting in the garden hose water fight, and more. Teenagers may earn volunteer service hours with their participation.

Those interested in volunteering opportunities should email info@winfieldgoodolddays.com.

For organizations that wish to participate in the Good Old Days parade at 1 p.m. Sept. 7, applications and introduction announcements should be submitted prior to Aug. 17 to Monica Rundell at mjrundell@gmail.com.

Parade categories include classic cars, float, political unit, band/drum and bugle unit, walking unit, and decorated car/truck.
