North Riverside bank robbed Aug. 1

In a surveillance photo released by the FBI, the suspect in the Aug. 1 robbery of the West Town Saving Bank in North Riverside was described as a Hispanic man with a light complexion, brown eyes and black hair and wearing a Chicago Cubs jersey.

NORTH RIVERSIDE – The West Town Saving Bank branch, 7820 W. 26th St., was reported robbed Aug. 1 at about 4:30 p.m., according to the the FBI's Bandit Tracker website. 

No weapon was displayed or seen during the robbery, which the FBI described as a "non-takeover bank robbery."

The amount taken in the robbery was not disclosed. 

The suspect in the robbery was described as a Hispanic man with a light complexion, brown eyes and black hair. The man was at least 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds, according to reports. The man was wearing a Chicago Cubs jersey.
