NewHelen Plum Library director to host meet and greet

LOMBARD – A new director has joined the staff at Helen M. Plum Memorial Library, and she’s ready to hear ideas and suggestions from residents in Lombard.

Barbara Kruser, former assistant director of Niles Public Library, will start her new position as director of Plum library on Aug. 18.

Equipped with a notepad and pencil, Kruser will be sitting in the library lobby, 110 W. Maple St., for a meet and greet with the public from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 18, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 19, and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 20.
