• A resident of the 39W300 block of Armstrong Lane, Blackberry Township, reported Tuesday, Aug. 5, that his credit card company called him about an attempted charge at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills, California.

• A mailbox was reported damaged Wednesday, Aug. 6, in the 6N000 block of Riverside Drive, St. Charles.

• A resident of the 43W500 block of Scott Road, Sugar Grove, reported Wednesday, Aug. 6, that her account was used to make several unauthorized purchases at two stores in North Aurora. Six charges totaling $389.73 went through, while a $93 charge was denied. She told police her debit card was in her possession.

• A Dodge and Jeep were reported burglarized Friday, Aug. 1, in the 2S800 block of Volintine Farm Road, Batavia Township. An iPhone and older smartphone were reported stolen.
