Hinsdale police offer self-defense class for women

HINSDALE – The Hinsdale Police Department will host a self-defense class designed for female high school and college students from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Hinsdale Police Department, 121 Symonds Drive.

The two-and-half hour class will address awareness, alertness, preparation and self–defense techniques. Students will spend half of the time in the classroom and the other half learning and practicing self-defense techniques.

Space is limited and participants must register in advance.
