WARRENVILLE – The Fiscal Year 2016 Grant Application Cycle is gearing up in Warrenville.

New and returning applicants interested in Warrenville's Tourism and Arts Commission 2016 grant will have an opportunity to attend a grant workshop at 7 p.m. Aug. 14 at City Hall, 28W701 Stafford Place.

The grant process will be addressed during the workshop, and there will be opportunities to have questions answered. Application forms also will be available for workshop participants.

The commission annually reviews grant applications to help fund local events, programs and projects that promote tourism, the arts and overnight hotel visits. Funds may be used to pay for promotional materials, underwrite the cost of an event or activity, or pay for capital expenses.

Completed grant application forms are due by 5 p.m. Sept. 8. Applications also are available online at www.warrenville.il.us.
