BOLINGBROOK – Two people were arrested Friday for allegedly burglarizing a nail salon.

Huy Van Nguyen, 22, whom Bolingbrook police say is homeless with a last known address in Shorewood, allegedly broke a glass door at Pro Nails 1, 291 S. Bolingbrook Drive, before entering the business and "going through the counter drawers" around 5:54 a.m. Friday, according to Bolingbrook police.

Nguyen then allegedly ran to a waiting vehicle in the parking lot of a nearby church, police said. It's unclear what he allegedly tried stealing from the store. He and Jessica L. Tait, 27, whom police say is also homeless, were pulled over in a traffic stop after fleeing the business, police said.

Nguyen faces felony burglary and possession of a controlled substance charges, according to the Will County Sheriff's Office website, and Tait faces a felony burglary charge.
