Big Guy's Sausage Stand celebrates anniversary with party Saturday

BERWYN – Big Guy's Sausage Stand, 7021 Roosevelt Road, is hosting a block party to celebrate its two-year anniversary from 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday.

Local music, contests, free kid’s games, a showing of the the 1980 film "The Blues Brothers" and food is in store for the occasion. A 15-foot meat wagon will be providing specials and admission is free.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Cannonball with Chris Neville, Nasty Snacks, Amazing Mike, School of Rock Oak Park, Coffee Tom, Wes Chiosz and Milkdud Mackenzie.

Deep Eddy Vodka lemon shake-ups, Revolution Anti-Hero and Miller Lite will be served.

A Chicago-style Hot Dog Eating Contest will also be held. To enter, email bgssinc@gmail.com to and include your name, team name and contact number.

Local celebrity Ted Brunson will be the MC for the event.
